With 230 mission sites around the world, The Mission to Seafarers attends to the welfare of sailors across the globe. They recognise that living on the sea is a high stress occupation that is often isolating, and both physically and emotionally draining.
The annual Art Prize not only provides an opportunity to celebrate maritime artists, but also draws attention to the quiet sacrifices of sailors that may otherwise go unnoticed.
